I was never one of those girls that was afraid of frogs, salamanders, or toads. In fact, I longed to live in an area that had more of them. I grew up in Montana and while we had some, they were not as prevalent as a much warmer place with more swamps so I didn’t see them as often as I would have liked. I had pets that were amphibians, though, and once I caught a frog during a good rain and kept him for a while.
